Scott Levine received his B.S. with a concentration in Business Administration. He worked for The Hartford and the Red Cross before founding Creative Interventions in 2004. When the opportunity arose to be a part of forming an agency that’s mission was to help others, he saw this as his chance to be part of making a positive difference in the lives of others. Scott is largely involved in fundraising and other philanthropic opportunities as they arise. Scott Levine is the CEO of our agency.

Dr. Melissa Saunders received her doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership and Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. She is the Chief Operating Officer for Creative Interventions. Since 2004, she has provided direct and consultative services in private and public schools, in homes, as well as center and clinic-based facilities. Dr. Saunders has dedicated her career to ensuring that parents receive education in the treatment their child receives and that all individuals are provided with evidence-based effective services.

Maris received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Relations from UCONN and her Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Saint Joseph College. She provided Birth to Three services in the state of CT as a special educator for nine years before returning to Saint Joseph’s to pursue a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. Maris became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2012 and continues to maintain her teaching certificate in early childhood special education. Her primary responsibilities at Creative Interventions include direct services to families, support to teams as a team supervisor, and coordination of the Birth to Three program to ensure quality services to the families we serve as well as compliance with state and federal mandates. Maris has a passion for providing behavior analysis within the early intervention model and a particular interest in parent training. Maris Pelkey is the Director of Birth to Three Services for Creative Interventions. 

Justine Randall, MS Ed., BCBA

Justine Randall received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Merrimack College and her Master of Science in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Bay Path University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds licensure in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. Across her tenure, Justine has provided a wide range of direct and consultative behavior analytic services across home-based, public school, and residental settings. She currently serves as the Executive Director of School Age Services, overseeing programming for children ages 3–22 throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. In this role,


Justine leads the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote high-quality service delivery and ensures effective coordination across insurance, private, and school district contracts.


Justine served on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis (CTABA) from 2022-2025, where she chaired the Public Policy and Legislative Outreach Committee. She now chairs CTABA’s Professional Development and Continuing Education Committee, supporting the growth and advancement of behavior analysts across the state.

Melanie Varian, BCaBA

Director of Birth to Three Services

Southern CT


Melanie received her bachelor's degree in Child Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Eastern Connecticut State University and a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. She currently holds certification as Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. Melanie completed the Interdisciplinary Training for Early Intervention Professionals Specialist Program (EISP) through the University of Connecticut and maintains the Infant, Toddler, Family Specialist Credential from the Connecticut Birth to Three System as a Developmental Therapy Specialist. Additionally, she is recognized as a Master Coach by the State of Connecticut Birth to Three system. Melanie has been with Creative Interventions since 2006. In addition to working directly with children and families, her main role is to support quality Birth to Three and School Age services across Southern Connecticut. As Regional Director, Melanie collaborates with Directors and oversees all services within the region and works to maintain compliance with agency, Birth to Three and federal regulations. Her professional focus areas include Applied Behavior Analysis, Coaching and Natural Learning Environment Practices. 


Melanie strives to support families in building their competence and confidence in developing meaningful strategies to use within their everyday routines and activities to support positive outcomes for their children.

Kathleen R. Satalino, MS., BCBA, LBA

Director of Staff Development 


As a provider of Behavior Analytic services to children and families, Kathleen is dedicated to compassionately supporting her clients according to their unique needs. She works alongside caregivers to understand goals and create personalized solutions to achieve those goals. With over 20 years experience, she has applied this approach in private home, public school, community, and institutional settings.


Additionally, as the Director of Staff Development, Kathleen oversees all training provided by Creative Interventions and provides ongoing training and support to teammates. Kathleen’s professional curiosity and enthusiasm elevates the expertise of her colleagues and encourages their continued growth in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Dedicated to applying current research and practice standards, Kathleen creates content, shared resources, and organizes in-person and remote training opportunities. 


Kathleen is proud and passionate about the community she cultivates for both her clients and colleagues. Of her time with Creative Interventions, she says “I am incredibly thankful for the privilege to work with the most dedicated, fun and passionate professionals in the field.” 


Kathleen earned her undergraduate degree from Alfred University in 2007, where she studied Fine Arts and Education. She went on to complete her Masters Degree with special study in Applied Behavior Analysis from Bay Path University in 2018 and was credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board shortly thereafter. Kathleen lives in Southington with her husband, Matthew, and their twin children. When not working or “momming,”, you can find Kathleen enjoying time with loved ones and (let’s be honest here) binge-watching British television shows.

Kate Giampetruzzi, MS, OTR/L 

Director of Comprehensive Services

Northern CT


Kate Giampetruzzi is the Director of Comprehensive Services- Northern Region. In addition to this role, Kate also holds the role of regional service coordinator, master mentor coach, Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, and active occupational therapist. Kate has been with Creative Interventions ever since 2009, when she graduated from Duquesne University with her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Kate has grown with Creative Interventions and dedicates herself to the needs of the company, families, and therapists. Her daily support stems from her love for coaching and her belief that early intervention has a true lasting impact on families and paves the way for a prosperous future for children. Kate's devotion to family is also reflected through her personal life, as a wife and as a mother of 4 beautiful children.

Melissa Santos, MA., BCBA., LBA 

Director of Autism Specialty Services

Northern CT


Melissa is the Director of Autism specialty services in the birth to three, for the Northern Region. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Concentration in Children and Youth from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2010. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Special Education with a Specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders and Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from University of Saint Joseph in 2012. Her background in education and experience as a home based interventionist provided her with a strong theoretical foundation to teach skills to children, provide parent training to families and support team members growing in the field. Melissa has practiced as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Creative Interventions since 2014. She also acts as a Master Mentor Coach, Regional Service Coordinator and Supervising Director. Melissa is passionate about providing functional behavioral analytic early intervention services to children and families to ensure a better quality of life.

Jessie (Sanders) Slyne, M.Ed ,BCBA, LBA

Associate Director of School Age Services



Jess (Sanders) Slyne received undergraduate and graduate degrees in Elementary and Special Education from Westfield State University, and completed post graduate work in Applied Behavior Analysis through Florida Institute of Technology. She currently holds certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is licensed in Mass and Ct. Her professional experience includes work in the field of special education as both a special education teacher and special education administrator overseeing applied behavior analysis programming in a public school system.  Jess has continued her work in the field of behavior analysis by providing a variety of direct and consultative behavior analytic services in home based, public school and private school settings across Massachusetts and Connecticut. Jess currently serves as the Associate Director of School Age Services. In this capacity, she assists in the intake and assessment of clients within the home based and social skills programs at CI.  She provides specific clinical support and consultation as needed within CIs School age programs. Jess’s special interests include organizational behavior management and the analysis of complex challenging behavior.

Jessica Lewkowicz, M.S., BCBA, LBA

Director of Clinic-Based Services


Jessica received her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a minor in psychology from Western New England University in Springfield, MA. She received her Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis from National University in San Diego, CA and has been working with children with autism since 2019. She has been certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2022. Over the past 6 years, she’s worked in early intervention and with school-aged children providing services in home, schools and the community. She is passionate about using natural environment teaching through play to enhance children's skills and improve their quality of life while doing the things they enjoy. Jess is the Director of the Achievement Clinic in Windsor, CT.

Christine Bourgeois

Associate Director of Home Based Services 


Christine earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a concentration in Elementary Education from North Adams State College in 1996, and a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education from American International College in 2003. Her professional experience includes public and private schools, home-based services including Birth to Three, Comprehensive, and School-Age autism specialty programs. She is passionate about working directly with families in their homes, engaging with the community, and fostering collaboration with schools. She particularly enjoys working within our social skills program, where she helps children build meaningful connections and grow in their interpersonal development. Christine takes great pride in advocating for her team members and in representing Creative Interventions with professionalism and dedication.

Stephanie Winter

Associate Director of Community Based Services 


Stephanie is a behavior analyst who is committed to continual growth and learning. She is so excited to be part of a field that has the same commitment. Stephanie currently serves as the Associate Director of Community-Based Services. She graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in English. Stephanie then served in AmeriCorps in Hartford, worked for DDS as a mentor and then worked as a paraprofessional in a middle/high school. She finally settled into ABA (a nudge from her mom) and got her Master's at UConn and her BCBA credential from Penn State. She is so grateful to continue growing alongside the children and staff she gets to spend her days with. They are the real deal.

Alix Andolina

Director of Autism Speciality Services 


Alix received a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Springfield College and a Master’s of Science with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Bay Path University. Her professional experience includes providing a variety of direct and consultative behavior analytic services in home-based, clinic-based and public school settings. Alix has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2017. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2020 and has been with Creative Interventions since 2021. Alix is passionate about providing behavior analytic services across the lifespan, parent training, and supporting future behavior analysts through their graduate supervision. She currently serves as the Director of Autism Specialty Services. In this capacity, she is responsible for the development and monitoring of policies and procedures designed to ensure quality service provision across specialty services.
